Mandala Workshop with Vicki Lund

This workshop gives you the basic, simple, tools to create your own beautiful Mandala. During this time, not only will you discover your creative side, but you will also connect with a circle of like minded individuals and you never know where the sharing may lead! We begin with a short meditation to access our creative mind, then jump into instructions. You have plenty of time to add your flair! You do not need to have any previous knowledge of art as we use simple tools. The purpose of mandala art is multifaceted, encompassing spiritual and meditative dimensions as well as creative and therapeutic ones. Mandalas serve as sacred symbols in many spiritual traditions, aiding in meditation and mindfulness to connect with the divine and achieve inner peace. They also provide a creative outlet for self-expression, aiding in stress reduction and healing in art therapy contexts. Beyond their spiritual and therapeutic roles, mandalas symbolize balance and unity, and their aesthetic appeal has led to their use in decoration and as educational tools, making them a versatile and culturally significant art form.
